Aqualyx is an absorbable solution with a microgelatin consistency, completely biocompatible and indicated for the treatment of lipohypertrophies.

In adipose tissue, Aqualyx promotes an aqueous imbibition, allowing the application of ultrasound externally on the skin’s surface to determine the process of microcavitation in the treated area. Additionally, it assists in the drainage of organic fluids present in the treated tissue. This protocol, known as adipocytolytic cavitation, is recommended for the non-surgical treatment of the previously mentioned indications, especially for the outer thigh region, also called “saddle bags”, inner thighs, inner knee area and hips.

This non-invasive treatment is effective in reducing fat in areas such as the abdomen, thighs, and “double chin.” Aqualyx injections contain a specially formulated solution, which is injected into the area with fat deposits. Aqualyx acts by fixing itself to these fat deposits, breaking them down over time and allowing the fat to be naturally dissolved and eliminated by the body.

These injections can be used to treat small fat deposits and the results are effective, quick, and minimally invasive. This innovative treatment breaks the cell membranes, releasing fatty acids. Then, the fat is naturally eliminated by the lymphatic system. Typically, results start to be noticeable after 6 weeks. Aqualyx is a solution for areas of the body that are difficult to modify with diet and exercise alone.

For this treatment, anesthesia is not necessary, and discomfort is minimized with the use of an anesthetic agent present in the solution. Results are usually permanent, provided there is no significant weight gain or loss.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Before using Aqualyx, it’s important to thoroughly clean and disinfect the area to be treated.

Although it is well tolerated, it is recommended not to exceed the quantity of 40 ml per session and 25 ml per anatomical area to be treated.

Aqualyx should be administered exclusively through the intralipotherapy technique, and its use is not recommended for mesotherapy methods or other injectable modalities.

The addition of 0.2 ml of 2% lidocaine (without adrenaline or other vasoconstrictors) per vial of Aqualyx is permitted.

Based on clinical data, a session every 15 days is recommended.

Results begin to be visible in the first sessions but allow about 5 weeks to achieve optimal results.
