APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

The injection should be performed by a medical professional. Juvéderm ULTRA SMILE contains lidocaine for optimal comfort. Your doctor may also use an anesthetic cream to make the injection session as pleasant as possible. After cleansing and applying anesthesia to the treatment area, the doctor will inject the product using one of the syringes provided in the package. The technique used by the doctor will depend on the desired outcome.

After the injection, the doctor should massage the skin in the injection area for even distribution of the product.

Finally, your doctor may apply ice to the treated areas for about ten minutes to limit swelling and inflammation.
